Rubbermaid and Foam in place. So you wrap the diff in a trash bag. Get some expanding foam spray the base, let it expand and harden, insert diff, spray more expanding foam to hold and then finally bury it. Zip tie top on and ship with proper labels

IE caution two man lift and Heavy.

Be surprised it usually they make it fine with no damage. I have shipped quite a few that way.

you can do the above packaging setup with touch foam. Grey hound shipping is 50 bucks on something like this, even less going shorter distances
