just an FYI this could be upgraded to MS2 for about $90 and MS3 for about $180. the chips just swap out, otherwise you just need to adjust a couple jumper wires.

With MS2 or MS3 it could certainly control VANOS on a later M50/S50. but it won't be PnP to get there, you'll have to modify it first..

thanks for the heads-up, this is a good deal for those who wish to run MS2 then as I know MS1 is fairly primative.
