I believe the booster only needs to be converted if it's froman E30 325ix. So, while this one is from an E21 320i, it needs nothing but to be plugged in. If it did need a conversion, it was done before I got my hands on it.

Youre backwards, the ix booster needs no conversion, while the e21 push rod lenght needs to be shortened.

Just fyi... not that it matters anymore evidently.
