This came off of my dad's 318is, we bought the car with it but he wanted an OEM look. It's pretty dirty, has a little bird poo and goop from the badge. I'll be cleaning it this afternoon.

SoCal, yes. 1 hour south of LA and 1 hour north of SD.

I don't know anything about how it was constructed, the PO said it cost $500 for the welding..
