Sorry Andrew... I did send you the p/n, and post pics before you sent payment. Although I picked it up yesterday it will get handled.

Correction: It has been confirmed the part is a Getrag 275/5 dogleg trans. I'd like to see the gear ratio difference if you have them.

You should post this for sale on MBenz world for someone looking to swap a C36AMG or similar.

this item has no use for BMW guys unless installing a Benz 3600cc DOHC inline 6 into a E30
            OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30

            Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine

You posted a deceptive advertisement, I trusted you to know what you were selling. Fortunately paypal protects buyers in this case and I will be initiating the dispute right now. I'm a bit surprised that this is how you want to handle this situation considering we know all the same people and in all likelihood I will run into you at some point.

It's unfortunate... Never was there intent to mislead. We both needed to do a little better due diligence. Pics and part# were posted prior to payment. You received a refund less my expenses to retrieve it to deliver it to you, which you committed/agreed to, in my estimation fair. SMH

Dude you posted the wrong fucking part up for sale, specifically stating that it came on E30s. Whether or not he was too hasty is moot. Anything but a full refund is out of the question if you at all value your reputation as a seller.

wow. Good to see a forum with so many trusting people as well as stand up people looking out for them. Someone like this should be banned from classifieds all together once the buyer gets a FULL refund. To blame the buyer for trusting your word rather than digging and doing a bunch of research is out of the question. You posted one product and represented it as being a different product. Whether there was any expense in you "picking up a part"(that you shouldn't ever be selling unless you already posses the part), it's not the potential rip off victim to cover those charges.

We can meet any day... thanks for your interest in my life. :hitler: Granted, opinions are like... you "buddy. " Wow, with all the information at your disposal you're able to conclude...what?? It is in the the right hands, thanks guys.

Mistakes are things everyone pays for... Having the necessary information to do your own due diligence and committing to arrangements... I'm sure Andrew is a pretty stand-up guy, and I'm sure we will cross paths soon

You're in the wrong dude - you said it was an e30 part. It's clearly not. Man up and make it right.

If not, paypal will. You can do the right thing....and give a full refund....and we'll all applaud you for doing the right thing......OR - If you want to stick by your guns even though you know you were wrong about the part - that's an option, but you'll just loose both the money and any good will on the forum.

Either way, you're SOL. It's your choice if you want to take on all of r3v. So far that's hasn't faired well for people who've tried. Just ask Vlad how his life is going....

From what I'm reading of this mess is, that you're keeping some of the money due to you having to get the part. So you was selling a part that you didn't even have in your hands yet???????

Thanks George it's apparent you have experience in these matters here on r3v... Andrew decided to initiate the Paypal claim and enlist the forum emotions.

Again I posted the correction, actual part number and pictures for everyone to verify... BEFORE receiving payment... you neglected to quote that, but you were able to summize "it's clearly not... an e30 part" how's this possible? Oh I posted pics... Selective quotes, selective reading, great!

I don't claim to be the resident expert on transmissions but I'm certain there are ways to make things work that are not exactly for a specific car, 80% of this site is based on this premise.

I'm sure there will be no applause, nor am I looking for any, right or wrong. Once communication has broken down sometimes a party chooses an objective 3rd party is necessary as in this case. But you've already proclaimed me SOL. SMH

                                The part was in storage.
