          I didn't know if the stock non-power ratio was the same as the stock power ratio. I'm assuming it is by your answer. How hard is it to park with & what motor is in your car?

            i've never had this one in my car, but I drove with the belt off working against the pump for a couple of years, never had an issue.

              There are two types of euro manual racks, the "normal one" which is very slow ( I think it moves around 23 mm/turn), it has a variable ratio and has about 4,5 turns lock to lock. It was introduced late -85.

              The other manual rack moves 34 mm/rev, and is not a variable ratio rack, it has 3,9 turns lock to lock and is much nicer to use. It was used until the other rack was introduced 1985.
