    FS Feeler: Black Carpets

Seeing if there is any interest. The carpet would be formed to fit just like OEM with little or no cutting I'm thinking. Any interest?

Where are you thinking of getting this done at? Im curious to see some previous work and a general ballpark price.

Someone around $100 maybe? Or cost of good condition carpets?
Shipping them may get expensive? Send a bulk them to one person to hand out to others in his/her area?

The carpet will be formed to the exact size of an OEM carpet.
I'd like to get them as perfect so people can just set them in.

Just trying to get interest now, more to come.

interest here, haven't found much info on replacement carpet yet beyond stockinteriors.com and worlduph.com but neither have much reviews in the community to judge quality and fit.

                    I'm in for 1

For $100 I'm definitely in for at least 1. OT: Natourious those wheels on your car are the best ever. They are Harges right? Best E30 wheels IMO.

I doubt it could be as cheap as $100... but I think anything under $300 is probably a good deal for replacing 20yr old carpet.

Note that there is a difference of fit between early models and late models.

When I took a black carpet from an early model it had no foam padding and sound deadening under it, and when I removed my late model carpet, the foam had to go too.

Thus my carpet doesn't fit correctly, it sits too low, and you can see wires where the kick panels are...

                          Just spreading the word.

Devon and I would add padding, we'd form it to fit a two door. Biggest problem is finding a good way to ship them.

                              i'd be interested.
would there be any weight savings, oem w/padding is pretty heavy for carpet.

my 85 had padded/sound deadened carpet, is that uncommon for the early models or something?
