wow, only 168whp with those mods? i'll be running this same setup soon and was hoping for more. I thought those mods = ~200whp?

I had an identical setup before I did the V8 swap, except I had a 2.5" exhaust. It made 188 whp / 164 lbs ft.

Sorry for your loss brother. GLWS man, sounds like a solid-complete swap for someone seeking a plug and play motor instead of having to shop around for parts.

BTW...Just for my own curiosity, are the 535i engine mounts specifically recommended for the M50v? I know E28 mounts are usually used (by myself included) for S50 swaps. Just wondering the difference.

(Also trying to talk my friend into picking this up :D)

Since then i've changed the exhaust , and the tune..

Runs way better , the old exhaust that was on that car was choked up. You could hear it , it sounded like a rocket ship because only one of the pipes was allowing exhaust gasses to flow out, as the other one was clogged by a baseball size object , from the cats

Yea I am. It had one pipe clogged. I cleared it out when I changed the cats. It had a baseball size piece of the cat cloggging the muffler tube. But when it was dynoed it had that exhaust.
