My entire m20 engine only had 82k on it when I rip it part and did the rebuild for boost. I rebuilt it to handle over 400whp and have it last a long time. So all the parts were hot tank at the machine shop. The rocker tabs where it meets the valves were polished so they wouldn't have any imperfection.
Same thing mister e does to his oem rockers when he was offering those with his heads.

I'd just like to bump this thread for an honest seller and talented wrench..
Cesar is a good guy, buy this head with confidenceComment

i maybe agree with this. the main reason i did it was it increased the surface area of the head so that more force is applied to the head gasket. It then adds more resistance to the fire ring from being pushed out and "popping" the gasket.1. the m20 head tends to expand in that area because of heat, that expansion causes cracks in you're head to occur.
2. It causes your head gasket to tear because of the expansion and contraction of the metal and uneven surface.
so by welding it one you make the structural integrity of the head better two you prolong head gasket life and three create a flatter more consistent sealing surface.
@beefjurky69 what are you going to do with you're bottom end.
Is this necessary for n/a not really, is it necessary for boost yes its a must!!!. especially for learning to tune. Building a motor but waiting for money for boost? BUY this head with arp's and your basically set for 300-450 whp.

Thanks Ryan...bottom end is also for sale but needs to be re-oringed with SS orings...they won't crush like the copper ones do.i maybe agree with this. the main reason i did it was it increased the surface area of the head so that more force is applied to the head gasket. It then adds more resistance to the fire ring from being pushed out and "popping" the gasket.

iirc thats what the directions call for is .01
if you have ever studied the headgasket for an m20, you will also see that the water channels are VERY VERY small compared to what you would think would be normalComment
