yes, it is a great start. its just too nice in its current condition to butcher and strip the interior. its got a nice clean body and good paint....i would rather let someone else enjoy it as a street/de car than start whacking away at a perfectly good car. besides, i am looking at the alumm52. so, the only things i would be keeping are the body panels, engine electronics and subframe.

Saw the car in person yesterday. Straight Body, small amount of surface rust, some trim issues, nothing major. Interior shows like a car with 200K+ but no rips in seats or cracks in dash. Handling is dialed in, feels like an M-coupe. Nice clean swap install, tranny and engine are in excellent working order. Would have picked it up if it was a 2.8. I still might buy it, we'll see.
