i made a rear carrier bushing for my car and it really stiffened up the carrier. also it is a bunch cheaper than a new rubber one. i made three extra if anyone wants one. price is $13 bucks shipped.

FYI. To install you need to grind down the flared section on the end of the carrier in order to fit it into the bushing.sigpicComment

I feel like there could be some interest in this. This and the front carrier bushing are the main things wrong with the e30 shift linkage, and I don't think I've seen a good solution to the rear bracket bushing.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Yep. I did it just cause a new rubber piece is about $50. But yes my shifter carrier is very stiff now.
