Feeler: custom rear 5x7" Infinity Kappa setup

This one is also a feeler because I might not be able to ship it until the week after next, but this will be easy to ship than the strut bar...

What I have is a pair of Infinity Kappa 5x7" two ways. I had the premium rear speakers, and I came up with an idea to mount them. I used a sheet of ABS plastic that is exactly the same size as the opening of the rear deck, and used it as an adapter plate for the speakers. The speakers mount flush to the rear deck, and I then used hollow out stock premium rear speaker grills to cover it up. The whole thing looks OEM and you can't tell the plate or the 5x7s are there.

I can include my hollowed out grills (I just removed the speakers and then dremeled any excess material out) but I'd rather keep them because I still need something to cover the holes in my rear deck. I would do it in exchange for your grey or black grills if you want. Otherwise, the grills aren't included.

I'd like $95 + shipping OBO for the speakers and the plates. It's really a great setup for mid bass for those that don't want to run a sub. I am selling them because I am getting a sub though.

I forgot to mention that the baskets have just enough clearance not to hit the metal under the rear deck.

I can supply pictures if needed, but its pretty self explanitory. The speakers are like new, except for a little bit of left over solder on the terminals since I hardwire my speakers.

You can see the plate right below the grill in the last pic. Its subtle and you really notice it if you are level with the speakers. The adapter plates have holes drilled so you use the stock screws and they line up with the grills so it all just stacks up. Here are the pics, sorry they are blurry.

Where are you seeing them new for $60? The cheapest I've seen new Kappa 5x7s is $93.

Does the $60 deal you're getting include the Premium housings and custom work?

Are you sure they aren't Infinity Reference? These are Kappa. The 5x7's on eBay even are $145-150.

Ken, I think he is just trying to shit on my thread because I offered him $20 for his used E36 window switches since they are $18 each new from BMA.
