BNIB: DTM euro smileys

What's so entertaining is that ellipsoids were factory lights and e code euro ellipsoid "smiley's" that a lot of people run were the last edition. So you can shave years off the look of your car and still be period correct. The US got stuck with DOT spec pep boys/Napa generic sylvania sealed beams...the same lights that fit on any car with 5 3/4" lights while everyone else got H4/H1 lights (which are remarkably better) prior to ellipsoids. So you saying that you like them is a bit far fetched but okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion but I will say that euro ellipsoids > sealed beams in every aspect.

Who's to say this guy isn't allowed to like his sealed beams based solely on appearance? He knows the light output isn't that great.. but there are much worse things to like on an e30.. like doing a 5 lug swap just to mount these: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...&postcount=153
