Got my M50 injectors quickly, and installed them today. I stupidly failed to lube the orings so I had a fuel leak, ended up having to go to the auto parts store to replace two orings (which were not as good as the ones supplied). All assembled, no longer leaking.

Can't say I notice a huge difference. Idles about the same, maybe a little more power at the top end. I have a feeling the Motronic takes a while to adapt to them? I also just ordered a chip so we'll see if that does anything more. My car is an 88 325i with automatic.

One good reason to do this - my old orings were all cracked. The injectors were pretty gunked up too.

Thanks for the feedback. If you had ok injectors, before the upgrade, you should barely feel any difference at all. They run at the same rate.
As far as the orings, i normally include a couple extra, but with the demand now, i can barely keep up the stock of spare parts.
I could've first classed a couple, just not sure how much time you had to spare for this

These replaced stock injectors which had been in there since 1988, so there should be some upgrade. I do find some more top end as I mentioned.
But to clarify - the M50 are the 17lb injectors so they should flow more than the stock M20 injectors right? They are also 4 hole vs the single hole for the M20.

I have an ebay chip on the way - my computer is a 153 so I am a bit dubious of any improvement, but we'll see.

The M50 are 17lb at 3.5 bar
M20 engines use less pressure, so they flow the same.
M20 are rated around 16lb.

You should gain some top end since the flow rateis bigger on the M50, but only if you have a way to give it more fuel pressure or the engine is ventilated so good that it needs better fuel atomization

You have the blue tops Bosch 0280150715, i have the upgrade option for you from the M50 engines.
