I have a trunk can for sale, it stores inside of a 15" or bigger spare wheel. Very good condition.

Is this just a gas can? LIke to refill when you run out of fuel? Or does it actually make my tank bigger?

Its a spare for the trunk, separate from your regular fuel tank.
This piece is for when you run out of fuel or are on long roadtrips and want to carry extra gas for safety. It was an optional item in Germany when you purchased an E30 back in the day
