    FS: Racing Dynamics headers

I'm going to sell my headers pretty soon and would like to see if there's any interest. These are the Generation 2 looping Racing Dynamics headers originally for the E34 M20 525i but modified to fit the E30 M20. They fit all eta models (325, 325e, 325es) and will only fit the 325i if you remove the oil cooler. There are no flanges so it will have to be welded onto a set of custom downpipes (or you can weld flanges onto it).

The headers have been recoated by HPC with their HiPerCoat 1300 polished aluminum finish.

I have over $1,300 into these headers so they can fit the E30. Make me an offer; please, no lowballers. Email me at if interested, thanks.

how much were they and are they ceramic coated? how much power difference would you experience from those?

Beautiful headers Fred, and you know I love you man, but you have to list your asking price per forum rules.

Somebody snatch these things up, they are very rare!

                    Whoops, sorry about that Bobby!

A little background: The headers listed for $1,200 brand new back in the day from Racing Dynamics but they were having a blowout sale a few years ago for $300. All the E30 guys who bought it ended up eBaying them because they wouldn't fit the E30 without serious modifications since the #4-6 pipe ran right right into the firewall (not an issue on E34 M20s that had a larger engine bay) and the #1-3 pipe wouldn't clear the oil filter housing. I spent about $950 getting them to fit, plus $225 for the HPC ceramic coating, plus the costs of the headers themselves.

I'm asking $800 or best offer. I know it's a lot, but how often do you see these headers on an E30? :)

you could have had a custom equal length set built for the money you paid to "fit" these....unbelievable. Did you ever even use these?

Duh. Money's not the issue here; the header design and exclusivity are. That picture of the headers in the first post is how it looked in my car, so yeah, I've used it.
