I have sent interiors by screwing the front seats to a pallet side by side, placing the rear seats on the front seat bases and pallet (shrink) wrapped it. Then stuck plenty of cardboard patches on the corners and pallet wrapped again incase they are clumsy at the haulage firm. A bubble wrap roll won't harm either. I sent an interior from the UK to Australia recently that got there 100% intact as I sent it.
Best way to send an interior IMO. Great seats, good luck with your sale OPComment

Just wanted everyone to know I've gotten quotes and sent individual PMs. They quotes are kinda high but I've never shipped anything this large so I don't know where to go. If anyone has a place they ship large items through ease reply on here or PM me.
Thank yousigpic

FWIW I just received a set of sport seats via UPS. They arrived in great shape in a large UPS box, tilted forward and surrounded with heavy packing paper. I don't know what the cost was but thats one method that seems to work.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com

Could you give me the information from the seller you bought the seats from so I can talk to him about where he went to ship the seats? I've been looking around at other options besides Greyhound and UPS and prices are kinda high.
Thankssigpic

UPS in a UPS box that was probably 3x3x3 or maybe 30x30x30. The problem is at that size they charge you volume weight so you have to at least pull the back off to get it in the smallest possible box. Shipping weight was 40lbs per box
I'd pull the cushions, head rest and seat back and ship it without the frames. Problem solvedLast edited by jeffnhiscars; 11-23-2012, 05:02 AM.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
