I can just imagine the e12 pulling an Airstream. Uphill. At 90mph.

so one rear flare done:) I messed up the welting a bit, but I'll replace it when I cut out the fender.
it fit with no modification as long as you use the welting, without welting it would need the entire OEM fender cut out to sit 100% flush.
and pics, it takes around 45minutes per flare to ensure it goes right the first time!

So tempting, but I don't think I could bring myself to destroy my 318is' fenders :(

here is how I ran the welting and it was VERY difficult for me to bring my self to drilling holes in my E30 but..... I like traction and beefy tires and my tires and fenders were eating each other up so I had to:)

                    Are these modified ZG fenders?

they are not actual ZG flares but its the same style, actual ZG flares are not wide enough. These are about a 1/4" wider than zg flares

Are you going to be cutting the fenders underneath the flare? I'm interested in a set.

i like. makes me wonder how they'd fit up on an early model with plastic bumpers.

do you suppose the trailing edge of the flare could be trimmed and radiused down to match the leading edge of the bumper?

VERY easily, would only take about 5 minutes to change that edge. I believe the M-tech 2 bumpers are wider as well as M3 so that would be used to make it meet nicely and get that real wide stance.
