Is that accurate or should it read 90+ models only?

The site says it fits all 1982-2005 3 series. Then right below it says 89+ e30. Haha. What.

And aren't airbag models 90 year models (or latelate 89, but certainly not all 89)? What's the difference between 89 and an 88?
