I am selling my H/K DVD5 it is a DVD/CD/cdrw changer it holds 5 disks. Cosmetically it is an 8.5 there are small scratches on the lower right corner (you really have to look to see them.) and the headphone volume knob has a flat spot.
About 1/2 the time the unit won't come out of standby. It has a full off button that is above the power button and sometimes it is necessary to push the full off button a few times to get it to power up. I spoke to H/K they say it is a capacitor (most likely) that controls the transfer from standby to on and that it will most likely cost 40-80.00 to fix.
I am leaving for a few months so my Wife needs a unit that works 100% of the time therefore I got her a new one so before I put it on ebay I am offering it here.
It cost 300.00 in 2001. I'll take 80.00 shipped to the 48 States. Included are the lighted remote & manual. And again no shipee until the end of January.
