Is the e60 stock height just short throw and if so how long in comparisson the the others

The Z3 1.9 Lever is about a CM shorter than the E30/E60 Knob which are equal in length. The benefit comes from the rod extending from the center point down which gives the E60 Shifter an advantage in percentage reduction in shift throws. Final shifter height ultimately depends on the shift knob it is being used with. I would personally go with the E60 Lever with a weighted ZHP Knob.

                  Hope that is clear enough.

                  Thanks!

I always replace the selector rod joint on the back of the trans when rebuilding the shift linkage. I have found the majority of the sloppy feeling comes from this guy.

part number is for an 89 I car so use at your own risk. 25117501309

great kit and good price But I think you should consider making this an add on option?

I did the research and found out there is a early model selector rod joint (up to 08/89 Build date) and a later style joint (from 09/89)

I will do further research, get the best price possible for each style, and add it into the original post.

                              Thank you!
