MR325 said with E60 rod didn't have to be bent, but I am getting rub in Reverse, 2nd, and 4th. Weee....
LOL! Anytime, and the E60 Lever does not need to be bent, levers only need to be bent for correct alignment and placement of the shiftknob (centered). You might need to bend your selector rod slightly since the E60 lever goes further down than the stock one.

Yeah, I meant the rod. Think it would be easier to bend or just remove the harmonic balancer?

I really just don't want to deal with the bitch clip... haha.

Easier to bend most likely. If you did it once already it will be a lot faster the second time around.

Problem, I have the early model set up. I guess the bitch clip is only on late models? I just have a hole where the clip would be.

Anyway, thanks I will just hit shit until I figure it out.

The bitch clip is actually reffered to the clip that snaps onto the selector rod to hold on the shift lever. Early model cars have that as well, the only differece is that you have a metal ring and c-clip in place of the newer style white plastic shift "bearing".

I have heard of people running the MZ3 Shift Levers, I am not sure however if they have to be bent or not. But that isn't a big deal anyway.

Mine arrived today. Looks great. Shipped quickly. There was also a Hot Wheel included. Too bad it was "Italian trash". ;)

Hey, I recently installed one of these kits from a forum member and I wasn't able to get the washers on around the shifter and the selector rod. Is there a trick to getting them to fit? Even with just one washer on I wasn't able to get the cir clip on. Will I run into any issue without them?

Yea, That's been addressed a few times, basically because the bottom of the lever is wider on the Z3 than the regular E30 lever, it is next to impossible to get them on. It's not new information and is perfectly fine. I include them and actually couple extra just incase.
