    Mk2 gti recaro seats

Well I bought these off a friend in hopes that I could put them into my car. But it's not as simple as using an adapter to mount them like I thought. I don't have the time to make brackets/weld, though they have solid rails which would definitely make it possible to mount to e30 sliders. They're in excellent shape, not sure if the pictures will work so if not feel free to text me for pictures of them. I'm looking to get $500 obo local pickup in kent Ohio. At this point I don't think I'll be shipping them.

Those look like the VW specific recaros. You should include pictures of the seat bottoms also. If there is a singoe center rail and it does not bolt to the seat base, i can't be used in anything but a VW.
If that is the case, i would suggest selling them on VW vortex.

Those are vw manual base recaros, the bases are only removable on the power version.

Correct. That's why I didn't cut these to put in my car. I could be done but I didn't want to cut these bases and weld since its not that easy for me

Crappy picture I know. But these are the manual ones without remove able bases so the massive adapters wouldn't work unfortunately. I wish they did

I'm interested in how you cut then welded the bases on. Any chance you could take a picture and post in here?

I bought a pair of these seats for my 240sx knowing I needed custom brackets but I'm scratching my head as to what to do with these damn things. The base is nothing like I've seen.
