    FS: E30 M20 2.8L & Dbilias ITB's

I'm regretfully having to post this sale. I had intended initially to plunk this in my E30, but plans have changed. After further investigation I determined that the engine management system in my E30 would have to be modified extensively in order to accommodate this engine. I'm against this for a variety of reason, the most major being that I'm aiming to maintain originality. The second being that I just got things sorted and I'm not sure if I want to tear everything apart again.

I even considered another E30 transplant this engine into as I would be able to keep a clean stock M tech I and a highly modified sleeper. This plan unfortunately does not look as though it will pan on based on space and time. I will be moving within the next few months and the questions as to where/when/how are beginning to arise.

Therefore after much deliberation, I have decided to post these items for sale. IF there is no interest, or the price is too much of a turn off. I will likely keep the engine for a future build, it's too special too simply let it go for nothing or break it apart.

The engine has about 5,000kms on it. So it's nicely broken in and with enough millage that any major issues would have arisen.

I'm after SOLD for the block and head (Valve Cover & Headers are not included)

If some of you are wonder why this happened. I wrote this response on my local forum (see below).

"I originally was interested in the car to drive, upon seeing the car in person the rust was considerabily more extensive than I anticipated (or why was shown in the photos). It suppose this is why the car sat on the market for over 2 years.

I purchased the car on the grounds that I would be able to make something work. Seeing as how I had made the trip over and taken the necessary measures to buy, I did so. At this point I was sure that a few items could be used for my car with the rest going up for sale.

When I got the car home I was shocked at the amount of rust and anyone who saw the car in person can relate. I anticipated holding onto the engine as I noted earlier.
    "

If you want to discuss this matter further, please PM me. I'm not very happy with this outcome, but such is life...

The PO reported 220BHP on the dyno, but believes it's slightly higher now due to some performance improvements done shortly after (as noted in the above link).
