Do you think this would be able to tow a medium-sized sailboat? I have an '87 vert, and would love to be able to tow my interlake behind. I wasn't sure where to begin, but then I saw this thread -- a fantastic find!

How is this still for sale! I would love to something like this on the e30. Defelently got to be stronger then the aftermarket ones that mount to sheet metal.

After looking at the pictures I wonder if there's away to make it a stealth set up. Some way to make that ball and hook piece on sleeve or a collar, so it could be removed with a pin it something.

If I had the extra cash I would buy this.
