Hey guys so after searching for a VERY long time. I have decided to replicate these. If anyone is willing to help out a little I will be willing to share what I have done so far. I have a buddy who owns a sign shop. He is going to print out a few decals to go over the original econo meter. It will state Boost at the bottom and go from -15psi to 22psi. I have assembled all of the parts I need.

If anyone wants to follow along

I'm using a Arduino atmega328 to provide PWM to a stepper motor. $15
Stepper is Switec X25.168 or clones from VID and MCR. You can pick up the steppers on eBay for less than $5 each
Then just wires, other odds and ends. I will probably 3d print the stepper motor mount that will align the needle perfectly.

I didn't want to post anything until I was sure I could do this.

I do need some help with the Arduino coding if anyone would be willing to help!

I have done lots of Arduino projects but this will be my first from scratch with my own code. so please have patience and I will share pics and updates as I have them.

I will start a new thread soon with info so we can all share progress.

I should have bought 3 of these when they were available... the one I did buy was one of the coolest products I had purchased on the turbo car. Which was recently sold on... :(

I think it's safe to say this was a limited product. I've got one in my turbo M20 and it's held up well to this day. Is there anyone that can reverse engineer an existing one?

Sorry to bump this, but they still exist.
                                I'm pretty interested in one.
