Stan just to let you know M54 connecting rods are fracture split not the most desirable. Most BMW rods are actually the same size 135mm as the m54B30's Only the m50tu are 140mm. But you might already know this and I'm just talking to myself in which case free bump....guess op doesn't want to respond to my question?Comment

Thanks for the heads up, but I did know this. I'm building an M20 stroker with an M54 crank and stock M20 rods, although the correct 135mm length, are too thick and will not clear the block while the skinnier M54 ones do.
