They are still available, Castros just got 3 new ones for frank ocean to then get re-covered in leather

Yes, the new ones are available. But the classic style vinyl ones are hard to find. I'm guessing all the NOS ones have cracked at this point haha

My dash is a crack free survivor so far, but I'd love to get the center console recovered in leather and get the handbrake boot redone as well. I've seen these on Ebay, but would be much happier to support a R3Ver as well as keep my money stateside. Can you do something like this?

I'm also interested. Not too far and would be willing to come down there for the right picked up & installed price!

What I don't know how to do....or how one goes about it - is finding materiel (leather, or fake leather) - that will last. There much be some kind of UV/heat rating? Preferable a scale....like - this material isi what XYZ companies uses on their dashes. And you can see they last 20 years in the sun.

                Is there such an index?

^word. maybe its because we dont have 90+ degree weather all year round so it doesn't cook and wear away the dash

The car just rusts around the perfect dash?
