Can you fit 16" wheels over 300mm E46 rotors with E38 calipers? Am trying to plan out what will work for me. TIA!1990 325i Touring - The Bonsai Bimmer - Patiently Waiting

Quote: As for the disk trailing arms (TI), there are also 2 variants, one is a bracket that allows you to mount rear E46 M3 brakes on the TI trailing arms and the other is a bracket to allow you to mount any E36/E46 rear caliper and rotor.
I want to upgrade my brakes and be able to use 15" e36 bottle caps.
to do that I can only use non M e36 calipers and rotors, I know with max339's kit for the front i can use the e36 bottle caps. what about the rear kit?
Are you guys SURE this kit will allow an e36 rear caliper and rotor to be installed... There is one part that says any e36 rear caliper & rotor, and then there is a part that just mentions e46.
BTW I would love to be able to use the e30 bottle cap rims.... Does any one know of upgrading at least the front brakes with bigger rotors and calipers and still keep the e30 bottle cap rims on?

With the front setup being 5-lug, you and E36/5 rear trailing arms - you already have good brakes and 5-lug on all 4 corners.
My rear kit is considered a big brake kit. Most of the people who got it ended up using E46 330 rear brakes, which are pretty massive. It might and should work with other E36 and E46 calipers - but since all of the people who got it used in on E46 330 - dont put my word on it :)
Also with that rear kit - you will loose the parking brake, since the rotor has a different offset.
As for bottle caps - there were no 5-lug ones, just the E36 ones.
