The coolest update, in my opinion, is the new capacitive touch switch which fits right over one of the blanks above the radio.

Cool, do we get that? Only silver? Black would be cleaner in my opinion though :)

The white one shown above was a prototype, that comes with your kit is in black

          Nice :)

Shame I don't have any space for it where it should be, but hey, looks great! Can't wait!

Where do you put the sendor for the water temp? Do you have to tap the thermostat cover like on the E36? I'm guessing oil pressure sendor goes into the stock location, what about oil temp? I have an ODB on my E36....what are the options? I'm looking at just those three: oil temp, oil pressure, water temp

Update for customers that ordered one of our E30 vent gauge setups and have not received their order.

The new power supply boards arrived late Friday and were assembled this weekend. Orders are being shipped out as fast as the gauges complete their testing and tracking numbers emailed to you.

If you have any questions about your order please let me know.

You do not replace stock senders with the supplied units, you need to tee off the access point in order to supply both senders unless you know that you want to bypass the OEM sender.

Due to the different types of engines installed into an e30, liability reasons and the fact that I do not know, I am unable to suggest tap locations and how to have it done. I hired Gutenparts to install the senders for my setup, so I hope that other enthusiasts that do their own install share their tips so others can use the information to complete their installation.

For coolant you can run an in hose adapter. For oil temp/pressure you can replace the dummy light or T of of the sender with an adapter.

Do you have an example of the adapter or where I could get one? Nevermind, found it....what size do I need for the coolant line and which line do people usually tap?

What does the capacitive touch switch do? I might have missed it in the thread!

The oil pressure and oil/water temperature senders both use 1/8" NPT thread if this info helps with selection.

The touch switch is used to access the left and right hand side display modules and used to configure their parameters, alert thresholds, brightness levels, refresh rate, etc.

Here is the setup manual for the oil pressure & oil temperature dual display: http://veisystems.com/old/docs/Instr...-OPP-OTF-M.pdf

Whenever it says 'hold the button' or 'press the button' it means the touch switch which replaces the button.
