    FS: Shrick 284/272 camshaft

Used briefly...would have been nice but had to switch to a 272 because of piston to valve contact. Based on my experience with it I wouldn't recommend running this cam unless you are prepared to have machine work done to the pistons. $300+ shipping

was the contact at high rpm or when spinning the motor over by hand?

Motor by hand. I was using a thinner MLS gasket at the time to raise the compression a little but it will still hit with a stock gasket.

Out of curiosity how much did you mill off the head/block? Also we're you using stock thickness head gasket?

Not sure how much was milled off. I was using a thinner than stock gasket to up the compression however my mechanic said it wouldve still hit with a stock gasket.

The block wasnt milled at all...Im pretty sure the head might have been done a little when it was over at the machine shop.
