In order to have a proper euro install/conversion - you do need the euro metal valance. Also for easier mounting of the mtech 1 and proper fog light placement. You can still mount the mtech 1 on the US valance but you will have to make holes for the fogs and it will be harder to mount it.

I do have the metal valances for sale. PMed!
