    m44 and auto trans

I recently picked up an e36 1998 318ti that im stripping and building a "race car" out of and I have no use for the motor or trans..

    119k miles on both..

owner was an older guy so it most likely wasn't beat on
car did not run when I bought it (problem with the EWS) but everything looks good, fluids were clean etc..
motors really clean, P/s had a leak but other then that doesn't look like motor its self has any leaks

not sure which model the trans is but its made by GM

$250 for the complete thing (I cut the harness, but ecu is included

figured id give it a shot before I strip it and scrap it all

im in Vineland Nj, bring a truck/trailer and ill load it for you

This is a screaming deal. Normally cant touch an M44 cyl head for $250
You say "Where are your other two cylinders?"
I say "Where's your other camshaft?"
    Frankenmotor: if an M42, M44, M20, S50, and S52 were to have a kid.

Had this been last year I'd have payed to ship it. I payed $550 for a local one that ended up with a cracked head. Had 200k on it too. If anyone wants to build at 2.0L with this I can help.
