Hello,

I only accept Paypal, because of my safety and your insurance. I am honest and say that i haven't tested the engine.......would you feel better if i say the engine has been tested and full refurbished or what? Internet can take all the words you want, if you would feel better then.......but it wouldn't be the truth.

I don't understand the negativity though. What is wrong with Slovenia? Have you ever been here? Do you have any experiences with Slovenians.......or does it just sounds like a Balkan country and you just put everything in one pocket....

Anyway......i have always read the forum, but didn't participate, i have joined recently since i have bought my dream car M3 E30 one month ago.

I wouldn't take it personally. Many members here have seen enough rip-offs from sellers that seemed genuine that they are just really cautious. Mostly it is just good old trash talk. As far as stereotypes, the only things most Americans know about Balkan nations comes from movies, which is obviously a crap source of information. It's sort of how most of the world assumes Americans are all fat, under-educated, entitled whiners that only eat hamburgers since that is (sadly) how most TV shows from America these days seem to show life here.

Chances are that you will have more luck trying to find a local buyer since most people on here are in the US and shipping alone would be very expensive. On top of that, a lot of people are going to be skeptical of a new member selling an expensive item that obviously could never be returned if there was an issue. Anyway, I wish you were local because I would love to drop that engine into a project E30 car, but it's not in my budget at the moment anyway.

"don't forget Slovenia" here. It means on top of the other things mentioned the seller is in a land far far away. Not that you're a gangster from the movie Taken, or whatever.
I am curious, however, if someone were to buy it and have it shipped only to find it didn't test well... Does paypal cover that?

I am not taking it personally, but was just a little supprised as i am not used to this kind of "attitude". Guess it comes with the action of switching from just reading to actually posting on the board and kind of assuming that the community knows me, as i know the community through reading :)
In the following days i will introduce myself and my car.

I am also selling the engine locally - Europe, as in Slovenia there is not such a big interest for this engines. I mean everybody knows them and loves, but nobody is willing to pay as much as the engines are pricey.
