Ive done a little of reading and research about the cps a few months ago when I started this thread. It has been in the back of my mind., I dont yet feel confident about making the Cam position sensor setup.
Put it this way... I usually take something that I am about to make and do research plus my experience in the "engineering" background and I improvise to make such Item be easy to adapt and fix most flaws that could be encountered, and then I test it. In this case, I haven't yet gotten to the point of using such set up, therefore I cannot test it. I also don't have any experience with such set up.
Whats so complicated? Well, having to deal with degrees and tdc, and the setup would have to be dead on to be useful for tuning data. Otherwise there goes your thousands of dollars.
To make it simple... I will only make it if I have a well tested and proven set up.
So.... Can I make it? Yes! Give me a drawing and I will make it exactly as the drawing. And treat it just like any other piece I make according to the drawing.
But then the rest is on you (as in whoever wants it.)... You do the testing and try to make it work.
Doesnt seem too complicated right? Well, It would be nice for me to work together with someone well informed, and also test it and be able to produce a well rounded product.
I hope you guys can understand.
COP? Easy. Just a bracket. Its function? Hold everything together. No science behind it.
What is needed? Well, a strip of aluminum, and some research on whats a popular cop that can be used. Once you have that.. Measure, 3D model, Program, CNC Machine it. and done. Its just a time consuming process, but not complicated.Comment

This would be the simpler version

"Fancy" one looking like the stock piece...

Price... Im thinking:
30$ for simple one,
37$ for Shmancy one
and 5$ extra gets you the fitting

All Cam sensor Pages I have found so far...

If someone has input on this please help out.
I am willing to produce a distributor delete plate and a Cam Sensor Plate.
Maybe we can make a separate thread?
Someone make one...
Came across this in one of the threads listed. Looks similar to the bracket I made. Or should I say mine looks like it. Except this one looks to be 2 piece.
By the way, I did not see that one before I made mine.

Are you still doing the TPS adaptors, I am keen to buy? Also do you do a blank distributor cap plate for when running wasted spark?
