What I meant is start with aluminum to make a test piece.
I also wonder... Does that bushing go out on a lot of them. I seen the lever of a few cars and it seemed fine? Whats the reason to make one?
Tons of people are looking to add more precision to their shifters. I would replace all my shifter parts with brass if they were available. I think a brass bushing for the lower shifter connection that eliminated the need for the yellow shims could be a cheaper alternative to a DSSR.

Could you make this where it only has a single outlet? I'm currently running the coolant pipe completely capped off except I have one hose running to my coolant expansion tank. Just simplifying. The m42 crowd would love this but they may want to have two outlets so they can keep their heater.
I would like something like this in aluminum or brass.

Mocked something up. Tomorrow will try to make a test piece.
As soon as I make it I will make adjustments to it.
Its a combination of everything i have seen on the internet.

I could send the exact dimensions and pay you to make a one off piece :)

Im back, sorry I took a while... Work, holidays and family...
Finally had a chance to run a test piece and bam! It worked on the first try.
Its functionality looks to be right on. Measurements are good.
What do you guys think about what it looks like? I might change the design as it looks bulky to me, but its not a visible part once everything is installed on the car so I might not matter.
If I get good feedback I will start running a first batch.

The sensor area cannot be any thinner because thats how far the sensor will slide down the shaft.
The outer ears could probably be thinner but it would be more machining time and it would work as is.
I tried to address the adjustment holes because I know some ppl online asked about that.
Price to be determined, Considering design/programing, machine time, material, packing and shipping, and that VAC sells one for s14 for $100Last edited by Frankensteined; 01-19-2015, 10:36 AM.
