    Looks awesome. Welcome.

(PS - There have been a endless line of people making shift boots here. And the thing I see the most is people not using high quality material that is UV stable, and won't look like snot after a few years - so you might want to stress that you're using stuff that won't wither, is automotive grade, and all that jazz)

Also - if you learn to wrap a e30 dash with some sexy stitching (even if you fill the dash's little inset on the top that is suppose to hold things, that none of us use) you can more of less print money. A used dash, $100. Leather covered dash would be about $600-$1000? (don't know) Something like that. Heck, I don't want a leather dash, I want a 3M CF fabric dash!

(ps - how crazy was Ray?)

I appreciate the tips. I will definitely add some details about the materials I am using.

Wrapped dashes are in the works! Once I get the R&D out of the way, the materials that could be used to wrap them is endless. Filling the tray on top of the dash is the best idea I've heard yet.

She had her good qualities and her bad qualities haha.

Are these available to be wrapped in full-grain leather instead of top-grain?

Possibly in the future. It would run $190 per wheel for full grain nappa.

What's up with the green thread? M colors are red, purple and light blue. Just saw it mentioned in a review thread and saw the spindle here in your last post.

That thread is not what I use on M stitched wheels.
                            Link to this review?

And the colors vary depending on what exactly they are on. With stitching, the colors are a shade of turquoise, navy and red.

Edit. Just saw the thread. I guess I will go with a purely light blue thread rather than trying to get the turquoise perfect. That thread is actually different than what was on most of the other wheels I have pictured. The mtech 1's in the photos are light blue. I am seeing now from his hi-res photos that the particular thread is looking greenish. Live and you learn.

                              Pantone:
                              Blue — Pantone Process Blue
                              Purple — Pantone 268
                              Red — Pantone Warm Red

                              Paint:
                              blue violett GLASURIT-BMW 4000
                              light blue GLASURIT-BMW 5002
                              red GLASURIT-BMW 353

It's hard to tell from looking at a monitor. I didn't notice it either until it was pointed out.
