    FS- 1989 BMW 325i w/ 80K miles - Parts Car

    **** EDIT***

I think I am going to try to sell this car as a whole. The effort involved of in selling it piece by piece seems too daunting.

Would anyone be interested in it for $2,000 for everything?

It will roll onto a flatbed.

Please email or call if interested (919) 617 - sixteen Ninety - five

I am parting out a 1989 BMW 325i coupe, 5 speed manual, white with tan interior, with 80k miles that was a great running and driving car until a week ago when it was in an accident. The passenger side of the car is trashed. The engine and drivetrain, brakes, etc. are in great shape.
It would probably make sense to sell the engine intact because it is a great running low mileage engine. The same goes for the manual transmission.

    Some example of nice parts:
    Driver door card
    Driver seat (comfort)
    Rear seat
    Trunk lid
    Rear bumper
    Rear window
    Brake calipers
    Gauge cluster
    Steering wheel
    DME
    New battery
    ABS pump
    Master cylinder
    Much more...

Please post a reply here or send me an private message if you are interested in any parts.

Thanks for all the interest and concerns. The driver came out fine. The E30 is a stout little car.

I have decided to try and sell the whole car. The thought of tearing it apart piece by piece
                    seems a bit daunting.

Do you think the car is worth $2k as it sits.
That's with a great motor and transmission, right side sheet metal in good shape, right side door in excellent shape and lots of other parts.

Good lord no, nobody will give you $2000 for that. It's worth $500, if that. Good luck and welcome to r3v.

It seems like the engine and transmission would be worth quite a bit more than $500. It was a great running and driving car with only 80k miles on it.
                        Thanks

Only if you do the work yourself. And even then, M20s are pretty cheap. It also depends on how long you want that to sit in your garage.
