hey guys -- I an posting this more to gauge out what it's worth as I decide the future of my beater rally machine.
this turbo setup is mainly based on an eBay clone of a Garrett T04E Vband internal gate turbo. runs a CX racign rev2 manifold, eBay charge piping, intercooler.
engine management (included) is a Megasquirt Microsquirt V3 spliced into a factory Motronic 1.1 89 325i harness. has an added external IAT, deleted spark plug pickup and oxygen sensor. I ran this harness spliced directly into the chassis wiring (no C101, but the wire colors are all unchanged from factory, so a C101 could easily be reinstalled.
setup comes with:
* T04E clone turbo, I've put 4000 miles on this charger, half of that was a road rally. holding up very well.
* Megasquirt Microsquirt engine computer and attached engine harness Plug N play. includes harmonic balancer, trigger pickup bracket and CPS as well as all other sensors needed to convert an older Motronic 1.0 car if needed. includes GM 3 bar MAP sensor
* 42lb green giant fuel injectors, with fuel rail and regulator
* all charge piping, joiners, intercooler
* ss turbo manifold CX racing rev 2 (clears oil cooler and filter on iX and RWD)
* oil feed and drain lines for turbo
* sandwich plate for oil feed
* M12x1.5 to 1/8" NPT fitting for oil turbo feed
* complete throttle body (M50 TPS)
* blow off valve and vacuum lines
* RS232 tuning cable for the Microsquirt (not USB, sorry guys)
* v band downpipe wrapped with heat tape. comes with two Vband clamps.
* sweet air inlet system with K&N filter.
computer has a fairly conservative but safe tune on it. no idle valve, so idle is regulated with the screw on the inlet manifold. I typically get a very low idle around 30 degrees ext temp and 1500-1600rpm idle when fully warm. Microsquirt has the provision to drive an idle valve should you want to retrofit.

I really don't know what to even attach a value at. it's definitely a 'dirty' looking kit, but it makes great power and is complete. $1700 plus ship would likely purchase the entire setup.
currently set at 11psi boost. I have been caning it on a stock long block and clutch for the past couple thousand miles and it has been rock solid.
made 226AWHP and 266AWTQ through balloon snow tires on my worn out iX.
