I've been holding onto this glass moonroof for a while to replace the rusty sunroof panel I have on my E30, but it's my beater and I've decided I'm not going to put any pricey unnecessary parts onto it at this point unless a mint e30 falls into my lap all of a sudden.
The glass has no scratches and is in beautiful condition. The paint on the metal surrounding the glass has come off in some spots. I was going to sand and spray it with some SEM matte black, should be a real easy job. Also, the point where that metal surround piece meets itself is bent slightly up.... I would bend it with some big pliers protected with rubber back down before doing the paint job.
Not sure what to ask, but it's a rare piece that I've seen go on ebay for 700-800 before, so I'm going to start at $550 obo. Would prefer someone local so they can see it and also so it doesn't have to go through the hazards of shipping.
