not to be nitpickey, but that is actually a 535is spoiler. i guess e28 mtech is close enough. also, another small point: the photo you posted is e30 mtech 1. this spoiler you are selling will hang out about .75" past the edge of the deck lid on each side. also the bolt holes won't line up with standard e30 is holes and the lower edge of this one doesn't fit tightly since e28's use a different profile.
looks like the missing bolts are on the hard plastic part? tape wont cut it but you might be able to epoxy a little bolt back into the plasitic to hold it down.
with that said, this will look awesome on an e30 with some fittment work and restoration. good luck with your sale.sigpic

Frankly, I thought it was common knowledge that the E28 spoiler will work with modification. And I have used double sided tape on them just fine in the past, so your experiences may have been different.
All that said, this will the third one I have sold on here so I'm not sure why there's suddenly confusion over the spoilers and the minor fiddling necessary to make it work on an E30. It's well documented.
In summary: It's a spoiler off of an E28 535is. You will need to drill holes in your trunk if you want it factory correct. However, I have also removed them from junked cars where the owner literally glued AND double-sided taped it on to a non-spoiler car. Depends how ghetto you want to be.
Thanks,
Jeff
