Magnets(?): The filler plate is customizable and you will select 3 alphanumeric characters with your purchase. The magnetic strength is high enough to “hold” to the filler plate but I do not advise going through any high powered car washes.
(A customer reported to me that he drove 2.5 hours in high winds and heavy rain and the magnetic strength held the characters in place. Another client drove 150MPH on the straightaway at the race track with no issues.)
Installation: The product comes with the hardware to install the plate filler within minutes. The only tool needed is a Phillips head screwdriver. (See pictures) The plate filler "attaches" to the neodymium magnets which provide over 16lbs. of pull force!

My opinion is the Black letters looks best in Matte finish. The colored letters are only available in gloss due to the clear coat that is applied over the base coat.
