    Z4 manual steering rack

I have a good used non-M Z4 rack. This is the rack to have if you want manual steering and a quick ratio. It is just as quick as the coveted Z3 non-M rack, but was designed to not be hydraulically assisted, making it lighter, easier to turn, and less maintenance prone than other racks that have been converted.

It comes as you see it in the pictures, tie rods and all. For info and pictures of how to mount this in your car, check out this thread.

$250 picked up in Costa Mesa CA, or you figure out shipping and I'll mail it wherever you want.

    SOLD for $250

      Linear.

52mm per revolution compared to 36.5 in a stock e30

Was this already modified to be swapped directly into an e30?

They are z4 tie rods, nothing needs to be done to the rack to fit it in the car, the modifications needed are to an intermediate shaft between the rack and the column, which is not included. Details of the modification are in the link in the first post.

Inner AND outer tie rods, or just the outers?
