IX style 25mm brake master cylinder

Ok I purchased this when I was putting the big brakes on my car, the seller advertised it as a 750mc, but it ended up being the 735i 25mm master cylinder which has the ix style, and newer flange. It's useless to me, it's brand new and used just a few months before I got it. Great for an m50 swap with the IX booster.

I'm very interested (this would bolt on directly to my car) but I don't have the money right now. what year 735 is this from?

I was told it came off an 89. (it has a 1999 casting date on it)
