Mtech 2 steering wheel with fresh leather and M stitching. Wheel was recovered a while back, but never used on my car and was stored for 2-3 years. There are 2 scuffs on the leather which are miniscule and not too noticeable. Looking for $375 obo. Thanks for looking!

        Dishonest seller

This seller is a slime ball and I,ll tell you why. I now own this piece of sh-- and he refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing in th transaction. When I told him that I would buy the wheel I also asked him specificly if it would fit my e30. he texted me back and said that he had taken it out to his garage and he fitted it on his e3o and it fit ,no problem. The reason that I wanted to make sure it fit was that I had bought one once before that would not fit an e30 and had returned it to the guy no problem.
I paid the money, he shipped and when I got it I took the wheel and car over to Ryan G as he had some other work to do on the car. Ryan called me and said that the wheel was a POS and that the splines had been filed and it barly fit by forcing it and it would not hit the signals. Not for a e30.. I contacted the seller . He accused me of not doing my homework and said that it was on me because me or Ryan G should have done due diligence before buying the wheel. That he was not Amazon and shouldn't be expected to give money back. How can someone do research when he had the wheel. Someone has to trust.. His last words were "this ones on you brother" F-YOU BRO . If someone thinks that I am in any way lying, I have screen shots of all the texts for proof. I have bought dozens of things on this forum, including expensive things and I guessing that this will be my last. Beware of this person-- HE HAS NO HONOR!

It looks like an E30 wheel. So you're saying the splines were damaged? any pics?

            wheel

Very tough to get pics that small but can try if there is a need. It's probably for an e 34 but even Ryan was not sure. It would not hit the signals. The wheel has been fitted before. It is damaged and thats all I know. Will sell cheap. Besides that, the guy took the attitude that he had no interest in working with me and did his best to insult me.

I'll post all the texts... I've got nothing to hide. Bought this wheel a few years ago, recovered it and put it on the shelf. Put it up for sale a few weeks ago, advertised as a mtech 2 wheel, no where in the ad is it stated that this is e30 specific wheel! I mentioned to him through texts the this is possibly an e34 wheel and I would try it on my car and confirm, which I did. I did not however take the car out for a drive to see if the turn signal stalk would work. All I did was take my wheel off and try this directly on. I also did not see any damage before the sale on the splines. It's true, Im not an amazon store and you purchased a used part the was advertised as such. Figure out what fits on your car and buy accordingly. You could've done some research and maybe found out that an e34 wheel doesn't fit. It's not the sellers job to find out what fits on your car or doesn't. Insukt ir not... I'd be very weiry to go through another sale with the buyer.

Normally I would say caveat emptor, but if you told him it would fit his car...

So what does it fit? If your saying the splines were filed down post pics of the damage. It should pretty easy to follow. Not saying Ryan was wrong but when I take my wheel off it sometimes takes a while to wiggle it back on, and you gotta install it correctly to hit the turn signal switch. Maybe he damaged while installing it? Calling a part a pos instead of just saying hey you bought the wrong one is what I've seen people do when they fuck something up. Either way hope your not too discouraged from buying things on the forum.

E34 steering wheels are a direct fitment for the e30, OP should show pictures of the splines.

It's an "085" 385mm early E34 steering wheel being installed on an airbag E30. If the splines are damaged then he has a case. Otherwise, it should fit when correctly installed and appropriate spacers are used.
