I see you got no knownledge of how the Acs gearknobs looks. To be over 20 years this is in quite good condition.
I have several of these and also a brand new, and they all look like this.

Mine is the same way, the acs logo is meant to look like that.

Ya, the one for sale is lower in quality..certainly worn. I have a NIB. The embossing is rather faint. I don't know if I will actually run mine but for show.
