Ideal C

Will your brackets work with the true original Recaro Ideal C seats from back in the day? These seats are electric in as much as they have bladder controls for bolsters and, seat back adjustments but as far as I remember they are not able to raise and lower the seat height.

They will work on the Model C seats. I had a set of those in my old mk2 gti. They use the same 6 hole pattern as other seats. You will lose your height adjustment functionality of your factory seats. I do have some slight adjustment built into the brackets, but it isn't much.
