As long as your car is running totally as it should before installing them, then yes, the 17s will work on a stock M20B25 with no chip (adding a chip would be recommended for power gain, however). If you have some sort of air / fuel problem (bad AFM, bad o2 sensor, vacuum leak, etc.), then installing them will probably just make your issue worse until you fix it.
