    Early Model Startec Taillights

    Hey guys,

Got a set of Startecs recently. Damage is a bit worse than the seller had described but that happens sometimes. Nothing a little 2 part epoxy cant fix... which is exactly what I will be doing if no one wants to buy them before I put them on my car.

    Anyway, here are the pics.

Discover the magic of the internet at Imgur, a community powered entertainment destination. Lift your spirits with funny jokes, trending memes, entertaining gifs, inspiring stories, viral videos, and so much more from users.

All damage as of now is included but if for some reason you have more questions or want to see a different lighting or w/e let me know

I'm asking $600 + shipping and paypal fees

Or I am local to SoCal if you wanna pick them up.

I am also going to take the time to plug my instagram, @Marilyn_3er. Whatever you need I can get and I'm also doing an LS swap on an ETA if that interests anyone.

The market where perfect ones go for over $1,000...

They're 30+ year old pieces of plastic, shit happens. No one is forcing anyone to buy them.

I'm sure the pictures make the units look worse than they do in person. Fair deal for the darker "smoked" set - you usually see the pink ones come up for sale. GLWS

I remember when these hit $400 for a clean set, we thought that was outrageous [emoji23][emoji23] next year a rusted eta running on 3cyl is going to be $5000 for quick sale.
But back on topic..... decent price for rare light.... I should have bought stock in startec... glws but I doubt you'll need it

You'd be surprised man. No one wants to pay the asking price and to be frank it's not worth selling for less in my eyes.

The market is wild tho. I always have my eye out for stuff like this. Helped a guy get a set of perfect MHWs last night and it cost him almost $1,000 shipped, didn't even tax the guy I felt so bad. Think I'm just going to seal the cracks with epoxy and throw them on my rusted ETA that I paid $4,000 for lol. Guess your market predictions aren't too far off.

They don't look that bad to me and anyone who wants to nitpick my tails is wasting their time. Better things to make fun of about my car.

I understand the pursuit of perfect old stock parts and all that but I use my car daily and enjoy it too much for me to ever see it as an investment or something I could even try to keep pristine. Not to say I'm a slob or anything just different priorities I guess. Namely speed.

One of my MHW lights got broken when my rear got hit by a pickup truck. My insurance company had to pay almost 1k for a new set. I'm pretty sure I could get close to that if I sold them tomorrow.

You should post a pic of them installed so they can see how much of the damage is obscured.
