So I finally pulled my 4.10 out of the E30 for my swap. I usually see these things go for around $400 on here ebay. I priced mine lower for a few reasons.
1) While I cleaned it (It was a mess) its still dirty and honestly if it were me I would repaint the case and cover. But I dont have time to do that for the sale.
2) I really dont know much about the history of the diff. It was on the car when I bought it, its the original diff and had 213,000 miles on it when I bought the car. I drove it another 100 miles before I parked it to take the car apart. Both Highway and City. There was no whines or slipping that I could feel and the power delivery seemed fine.
3) I have no idea if the fluid was ever changed. I will empty this week and let you know what it looks like.
I am sure I could get more if I waited, but I wanted to be fair.
